(Trainee)

Environmental Awareness (1 day)
• Environmental issues
• Minimising environmental damage / pollution
• Business and the environment
• Energy and water
• Waste management and disposal, inc. associated record keeping
• Transport
• Environmental law

Hygiene and Biosecurity (1/2 day)
• Equipment required for maintenance of hygiene
• How to obtain the required equipment
• Reasons for site hygiene procedures
• How to check procedures are implemented
• Procedures for the storage and use of chemicals inc. dilution rates
• PPE required
• Personal hygiene requirements and reasons for these
• Record keeping requirements
• Legal requirements ie COSHH
• Disposal of spent products or solutions

 

First Aid (1 day)
• An accredited first aid course
