The British Poultry Training Scheme was established by a working group to develop a consistent level of training and the recording of training across the industry. This working group created minimal levels of training for each job role within the industry. Details of training are recorded on a Poultry Passport, an on-line skills passport which can be accessed via the internet using the supplied log-in details. Details of training are continually updated by the scheme administrators on receiving evidence of attending courses approved by the scheme.’
